In response to this trend, a new plant medicine community has arisen in Costa Rica, offering a transformative experience that bridges subconscious limitations and unlocks future possibilities. This inclusive community provides a safe space for individuals to explore the power of traditional remedies.

Business Objective

Reunion, a new brand in the emerging plant medicine space, sought to establish a meaningful presence and connect with a diverse audience, including underserved communities. As an LGBTQ+-owned business, Reunion prioritized partnering with an agency that shared their lived experience and values. A welcoming and inclusive brand was created that resonated with its audience to build a strong presence.

Approach

Hierarchy conducted extensive research and stakeholder interviews to kickstart the branding process to find a name that would directly connect with the transformative journey participants would embark on. The chosen name reflects the plant medicine experience and the unique location of the “blue zone” in Costa Rica.

With the name in place, a comprehensive brand development process was undertaken to create a cohesive and authentic brand identity. This process involved developing a narrative that captures the essence of the Reunion experience, communicated in an on-brand tone throughout the customer journey.

An editorial and content strategy was implemented to ensure ongoing engagement and relevance, delivering monthly inbound marketing that resonates with industry trends, incentives, and occasional fun content. A gift card program was also introduced, providing a valuable tool to support business growth and deliver directly to customers’ inboxes.
